Seti Maya Aale is an activist pushing for women's and children's rights. She is tirelessly working for the women who suffer from many forms of violence and whose rights are violated. Despite threats to her life, she has crossed a long journey in her social work continuously resisting against patriarchal societies. When she decided to enter politics, she got immense support from the communities she has worked with and ultimately won the election.
She founded the Samudayik Rauta Kendra (Community Rauta Centre) and was able to support women through proper health care and provide support to victims of domestic violence, among others. Until now, Seti Maya Aale is committed to building the capacities and leadership of women, especially the youth, and will continue to advocate for women's rights and equality.
