Ms. Rikhsi Rakhimova dedicated her life in a rural school to teach children. In 2004, she started to train women by organising seminars and trainings on climate change and how local communities can adapt. As part of the Women of Mountains (WMG) Group, she is involved in creating a sustainable mechanism for training and counseling women on how to reduce the impact of and adaptation to climate change. She also assists WMG in round table discussions on sustainable development and environmental safety, especially building the capacities and skills of women on environment, climate change and participatory mechanisms.
