Engineer Najia has a Master's Degree in Construction from the Faculty of Kabul Polytechnique University. From being a faculty member, she became the principal and deputy. She has been supporting women and girls in the Charasia district for 17 years now despite all the risks and threats. Her work yielded positive impacts and changes in the community. As part of the Women's Council in her district, she helped put a stop to domestic violence, trafficking of women, eradication of early marriage system, and forced marriages among women. She is also committed to do social work and promote women's rights and gender equality, push for women's right to inherit, and provide livelihood programs for women.

Her passion to teach enabled her to educate more people. She is raising awareness and teaching various topics on development, law, health, and the environment. She is currently busy with her literacy course-a project that she started on her own.
