Bishnu Ojha is the national secretariat member of "We Can Campaign" and is working to end all kinds of violence against women throughout the country. She was a Chairperson of ATWEN, an NGO where she advocated for the anti-slavery and trafficking against women and children all over the country. She is a member of the women sector of NGO federations since 1998. She has held key positions in various organisations that helped her advocate for human and women's rights. These associations and networks have enabled her to continuously work actively as a woman activist.
Bishnu Ojha's organisations are working together in all 19 rural districts of Nepal which covers 302 village development committees (VDCs). Her advocacy is centered on women's empowerment in the decision-making level; empowerment against slavery and human trafficking; violence against women; sustainable livelihood; women's rights and children's rights; literacy campaign; awareness campaign for legal rights of women; and media work.
